Cotton prices remained unchanged at the higher level on dull demand. Traders said that demand was reduced after constant rise in the price during this month. Mills wants to buy but waiting for some fall. However, according to traders, price may not decline much as supply is tight.Gujarat Sankar-6 cotton was traded at Rs49,000-50,000 per candy of 356 kg. About 2,000 bales of 170 kg arrived in Gujarat and 5,000 bales arrived in India. Kapas or raw cotton was flat at Rs1,380-1,410 per 20 kg and gin delivery kapas stood at Rs1,420-1,460 per 20 kg. Cottonseed was marginally up by Rs5 to Rs625-635 per 20 kg.
