The upper air cyclonic circulation continue to persist over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Coastal Odisha. It is extending 7.6 km above mean sea level and likely to tilt southwestwards in height. Another cyclonic circulation can be seen over Saurashtra and Kutch. It is extending between 1.5 km and 5.8 km. A third cyclonic circulation persists over Bihar and adjoining West Bengal. Western Disturbance as a trough is over North Pakistan along with Jammu and Kashmir. One more cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas. A trough from this system is extending up to North Pakistan. The Monsoon withdrawal line continues to pass through Anupgarh, Bikaner and Jaisalmer. Monsoon activity in last 24 hours Southwest Monsoon was vigorous over North Konkan and Goa and Saurashtra. Active Monsoon conditions were observed over Northeast India including sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In a span of 24 hours, Dahanu recorded 529 mm of rainfall, Mumbai 143 mm, Itanagar 125 mm, Jalpaiguri 94 mm and Dhubri also 84 mm of rainfall. Subdued weather activity over West Bengal, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Northwest plains continue witnessing dry weather conditions. The Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from parts of West Rajasthan. Monsoon Forecast for the next 24 hours Southwest Monsoon is likely to give moderate rains with isolated heavy rains over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai, Telangana, Rayalaseema, adjoining areas of North Karnataka and Northeast India including Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during the next 24 hours. Few areas may also witness very heavy rainfall. Light to moderate Monsoon rains may occur over rest parts of Maharashtra, North Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, South Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, adjoining parts of Jharkhand, South Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. Light rains are also expected over North Tamil Nadu including Chennai. Northern hills including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarkhand and few parts of northwest plains including Delhi and South Karnataka, rest parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala are expected to witness isolated weather activity.
