ICE cotton futures climbed up by 2% on Thursday, touching 7-month high as investors extended the Dec contracts to March; moreover, the strong U.S. export data also pushed the market up. Cotton contracts for March closed at 74.22 cents per lb, up 142 points and May contract closed at 74.6 cents per lb, up by 110 points. Cotlook A Index was increasing to 83.2 cents per pound, up by 0.25. ($1=CNY 6.63)
