A Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas. A cyclonic circulation is seen over Haryana and Punjab. Another cyclonic circulation lies over West Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas. A trough from this system is running up to Vidarbha across East Madhya Pradesh. A third cyclonic circulation is seen over West Bengal and adjoining Bihar. A fourth cyclonic circulation also lies over Meghalaya and adjoining Assam. A trough is extending from Punjab to East Assam across all the above mentioned cyclonic circulations. A north south trough extends from North Interior Karnataka to Tamil Nadu. A fifth cyclonic circulation is over South Andaman Sea.
